Dylia Lisardo-Dias has a master’s degree in Hispanic Studies from the Université de Toulose, France, and a Ph.D. in Linguistic Studies from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. She teaches at the Universidade Federal de São João Del-Rei (UFSJ) and is a member of the Master’s Program on Literary Theory and Cultural Critique working particularly in the area of Discourse and Social Representation. She researches on media, advertisement, discourse analysis and processes of stereotyping.
